Ajit Gidwani - Founder and Director
Ajit is the Founder and Director of Forward Motion and tennis director at dbrc and Club siena. Ajit is a qualified coaching professional with accreditations from the ITF, HKTA and LTA, and has more than 10 years of coaching experience working with players of all levels and ages. Ajit is also a certified performance-mindset coach under the ICF. Ajit has played tennis his whole life and competed at a national level in Hong Kong as a junior before starting a career in coaching and sports management.
John Weston - Tennis PROFESSIONAL
John has been a professional tennis coach for over 25 years. He was previously the HK National Elite Training Coach at the Hong Kong Sports Institute & Asst. Head Professional at the Hong Kong Football Club. John was also a former Australian ranked junior and competed on the satellite circuit, represented Australia in Paddle Tennis and was also a former coach of world top 10 player Jelena Dokic. He is a level 2 accredited coach with the Australian Tennis Professional Coaching Association and has worked with many highly ranked players and coaches.
PEDRO NARVAEZ - Tennis Professional
Pedro has been a tennis coaching professional for 14 years and has coached players of all levels from club tennis players to ATP and ITF players. Pedro started his coaching career in his home country of Argentina before moving to Mexico where he worked as a Tennis Director before coming to Hong Kong in 2019. Pedro is a certified PTR tennis coach specializing in high performance tennis and tennis psychology. As a player, Pedro held a ranking inside the top 20 as a junior in Argentina representing his country in international competition.
Matias Supan - Tennis PROFESSIONAL
Matias is an ITF (International Tennis Federation) and ATA (Argentina Tennis Association) certified Tennis Coach and has coached in various countries around the world including Argentina, Mexico and Germany before coming to Hong Kong. With almost 10 years coaching experience, Matias has worked with players of all levels from juniors to high level competition players and also SPECIALISES in tennis specific strength and conditioning training. As a Tennis Professional, Matiasachieved a career high ranking inside the top 400 as a junior ITF Player, and top 10 national ranking as a junior in Argentina.
Hernan Cortez - Tennis Professional
Hernan comes from Argentina where he has been coaching tennis for more than 15 years and worked as the regional tennis director in his city and served as the captain and coach of Argentinean junior delegations in international and national level team competitions comprising of the top junior players from the country. Hernan is certified by the International Tennis Federation and Argentinean Tennis Association and specialises in high-performance tennis for players of all ages and levels and has worked with many current junior tennis professionals throughout his career. As a tennis player, Hernan reached a career high national junior ranking inside the top 10 in Argentina.
LINA GOMEZ - Tennis PROFESSIONAL
Lina Gomez grew up on the clay courts of Spain, where she competed at national & international level and also received a full tennis scholarship to play collegiate tennis in the USA. She later moved to Florida to work at the prestigious Saddlebrook Tennis Academy; where she was coaching along side John Isner and The Bryan Brothers. Before joining Forward Motion, Lina has coached at several clubs and schools in Hong Kong over the past 6 years.
